The Yeti Yeti Tibeb Lealem Traditional cloth Maker is a business established in September 2004, as a sole propretership primerly to manufacture and sale quality caulal and occational traditional clothe.

Yetenayet Eshetu is the owner and manger of the enterprise. She is fully responsible for the designing and production of the clothes. She has a diploma in designing and dress-making in patented group Method of SITAM. Her three years of study at SITAM were instrumental in giving her the foundation to attain such a rapid success. Yetnayet has also participated in several workshops, trade fairs and bazaars that were held in Addis Ababa, Nairobi and Beijing. Currently, Yetnayet is known as one of the most creative and influential traditional designers to emerge in the Ethiopian Traditional Dress market.

The objective of the enterprise is to manufacture and sell traditional clothes for both domestic and foreign markets and ultimately to generate sustainable profit while contributing to the country’s overall economy. Yetnayet channels her instinctive knowledge of what woman and men desire from clothing in the creation of couture designs that are both elegant and refreshing. Yeti reveals that her aesthetic philosophy is to “design clothes that people remember, clothing that is innocent in form, but daring enough to awaken new style”. She spends a tremendous amount of time with each design, paying particularly close attention to both the creative detail and the perfection of the fit.
